Description

Print-in-place articulated Panda with embedded magnets. Bamboo Hut Included. No supports needed!

CONSIDERATIONS:

1. At standard size it needs 8x3 mm round magnets.
2. To place the magnets you need to add a print pause (Tutorial).
3. There are two versions, with and without magnet holes. For a smaller scale, or if you don't plan to add the magnets, I recommend using the latter.
4. There are several Bamboo stick included. The short one has a groove for a magnet as well (placed vertically).
5. 3MF files with fuzzy skin also included. If your slicer doesn’t recognize the fuzzy painting, just use the painting fuzzy skin tool to paint the outer faces (smart fill, 22º for every part but the butt; that one must be 4º). Leave the eyes, nose, and paws without painting for a better result.
6. Fuzzy skin settings: just for the painted areas, I've used 0.4 mm and 0.3 mm for 100% and 80% scale, and 0.4 mm and 0.2 mm for the small 60% scale. Feel free to mess around 😜

BAMBOO HUT

1. It is designed to be printed at 0.2 mm layer height. It could work with other settings, but I can't guarantee that.
2. After printing, just press the doors closed to free the hinge articulation. That's it.
3. There's a version with holes for the leaves, and one without them. Choose accordingly.
4. I've also included a Test piece, so you can test both the hinge and the leaf hole in a quick print.
5. Regarding the leaves, you will need 4 of them. The hole is wide enough for a loose fit, to use some glue. Alternatively, you can increase the XY Compensation of the Leaves for a tight fit. This value depends on the printer. It was 0 mm for my Flsun S1, and 0.2 mm for the H2C (use the tester above and print just one leaf until you are happy with the fit).
